MrBrandon
LoudCity and Live365 are radically different. LoudCity is a broadcasting community and listener portal that enables broadcasters to plug in most streaming technologies. They all share the cost of royalties provided they qualify. LoudCity is a good solution if you are hell-bent to use your own shout/icecast servers. Live365 is a one-stop shop for online broadcasting. You get live broadcasting, hosted broadcasting, media storage and a few other things. Loudcaster is a direct competitor to Live365. It's meant to be an easy but powerful modernized one-stop shop. In time it will also facilitate unrivaled interaction between DJ's and audience. Full disclosure, I'm affiliated with Loudcaster so I think it's more awesome than Live365 . You can see my footer for more information.
Freative
I have been using LoudCity for just over 2 years and have never had any issues with them. I believe we went with them for a number of reason, from cost to individual imaging, players, etc. ***DUH*** Ignore what previously filled this area of the post. Haven't had enough coffee this morning.Looking in to both the others mentioned. I haven't given Live365 a look since going with LoudCity. I should also brush up more on Loudcaster. shoutcaststreaming
Ok, something that I don't understand here. You are an affiliate for Loudcaster, which is owned by LoudCity. However, you are advertising for SWcast in your signature, who is their competitor. Burning the candle at both ends, LOL !! wildun
Being a loyal Loudcity user from day one I'll give my input. I researched and checked out every available solution to be legal and keep control of my online station. Loudcity was it, heads up, no comparison. It was simply the best choice for me. It worked both financially as well as allowing me the freedom I wanted to run my station. Since then they have created Loudcaster which is a easy way for anyone to start a station quick. It also has the freedom to do it your way! I am biased, but I'm also known to be somewhat intelligent (when I didn't have a few too many..lol). I long ago reach the conclusion that LC in either form was the best solution for any station. About 5 years later now, that still holds true, especially in today's economy. Sorry if it sounds like a plug, it's not. It's experience. No other internet licensing agency does what LC does.
voodoohippie
I really need to kill the SWcast sig. I use to use them when I first started. I'll change my sig to the Loudcaster station. Yea I'm legally Blind (reallly) and in a haste missed that one sorry. Now with that in mind you can see the FULL value of Loudcaster VS Swcast/buying a server host or server. It really does make things easier. Progressive Rock(Album Rock Deep Tracks),Classic Rock http://thelegacy.shorturl.com
