Jinglemaster
I was just going through a box of old cassettes I used to make when broadcasting. Mainly BBC ones, one LBC, some ILR. Found one with just my sons name. Nearly threw it, but decided at the last second to have a listen. Had to go and find a cassette player in the loft and then pressed play. My face lit up like a christmas tree when I realised it was recordings of my son when he was 18 months old, trying to say Balloon and orange amongst others. oh, and eating the mic foam too. No money in the world would have made me happier today!
izak
So sweet!!! Haha. Priceless! I have videos and pictures of me at the age of 5 maybe.. repeating and pretending to be a presenter just like the ones I heard on the radio. Saying the weather and introducing songs.. recording DJs haha- was one hell of a radio fan! I ended up being a radio presenter

Sometimes we tend to forget all that! :-) If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net Thank You! Jinglemaster
Thanks guys. You have no idea how close this was. I alwasy break cassettes and yank out miles of tape so they cannot be played when I sling them out. This one I had the pen hooked under the tape and was about to pull when I had second thoughts. Phew...... I played it to my son (now nearly 17) and he laughed with us. It is so priceless. Transferring it to CD, DVD, USB and anything else I can today to make sure we do not lose it! Being VERY careful with all other tapes now.
kiwiborn
wow... that is sooo cool. We forget how quickly our kids grow up and it is hard to remember the younger times with them.
