Lloyd
http://forums.shoutcast.com/showthread.php?postid=2529217 Is that part of the problem? When using the iphone is it part of the same network?
Mr.Cool
no i think he might have the same problem, the iphone is connecting to shoutcast though a cellular connection(not a router). i havent tried to connect with the iphone through a router, but i have tried other computers, some connected to the same router as mine is and one that isnt any where near my house. both had the same problem, so i dont think its a local loopback problem. shoutcaststreaming
What does it say if you go to the DNA's page ? Since you haven't posted an URL, it's difficult to diagnose. GKIye
The audiostream at the link you provided works A-ok at my place I guess ShoutCastStreaming means your IP Port (aka stream URL) Visit and listen @ BW !
shoutcaststreaming
This is the link to your DNA page: http://99.235.90.35:8000 Your station is playing ok, except it's buffering like crazy, so I assume you are hosting the station on your home PC. Mr.Cool
yes i am hosting from my home computer. btw with my current settings about how much bandwith will it use up a month if its on 24/7? and it seems to be working now not on my other home computers but at all others. so what ever if i want to listen at home id just un mute my speakers and listen to it LIVE(no delay) lol
GKIye
Hosting from your own pc at home can be fun ... however its easier to contact a streamprovider, they manage lots of things Visit and listen @ BW !
johny c
If you are trying to connect to your own server within your own network, it wont work. You need to use the ip of the computer your are streaming from, not your outside ip. flowerpoweroldie
Not cool to stream from home if you get a few listeners, get a stream host man, much more groovy.
