undercover
Does anyone know where I could get Adobe Audition or Cool Edit at a cheap price or even free? I am setting up my Internet radio station, but I am on a tight budget and have been unemployed off and on, but I am determined to re-start my station back up! lol
Arfa B
I have seen Cool Edit Pro on ebay currently downloadable or disc version sent with legit key for £15.00 Version 2.1 from memory!!! (do a search on ebay!) Now, That IS a true bargain for such wonderful software. I personally feel Adobe screwed the whole thing up (non-intuitive, typical Adobe visual interface!!!?!!!)- only advantage is the VST plug-in capability that Audition offers. You can quite easily cover that loss by looking for altenative Direct X Plug-ins for CEP!) Having said that- I personally find CEP easily THE best audio production software ever made- and at that, quite easily! Designed by people who were obviously well entrenched in the business for sure! I am a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG CEP fan, it truly is wonderful!!! If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net Thank You! Brutish Sailor
If your starting up, go with audacity. It looks intimidating to use, but its very easy, and you will pick it up very quick. Your asking the right questions for a hobby broadcaster, and we are all cheering you on. Send me the link sometime so I can check your station out. JBVoice
I agree with Brutish Sailor. I even use Audacity sometimes for simple recordings. I don't think you will find any legal copies of Audition or Cool Edit Pro for free...maybe try downloading a trial version or demo? -JB Jon Bova "Successful people have libraries. Brutish Sailor
also for start up? Go ahead and use what ever software came with you external sound card. If you DONT have one, go drop $25 to $35 on soundblaster audigy. use the software that comes with the soundcard. you wont regret it.
