See I did do that... im not one of those newbs. most of those i saw only would change my voice if i was calling someone... not the opposite. I have a called wanting to tell a story on air, but she needs to have her voice changed so no one knows its her.

Brutish Sailor
I tried to do this a bunch of times. Record, and play the clip like it was live. much easier. KNSJ.org / 89.1 FM San Diego
indiecore
I tried to do this a bunch of times. Record, and play the clip like it was live. much easier. agreed. I had to do that with music requests, shoutouts and, the interviews I've done. Might be an extra process, but it helps to make it just right. MixStream.net
If you have a mixer with effects, then you could route your PC output through that. I do a talk show with a mate, and the setup we use is that the mics and PCs go through the main mixer (which has some basic effects) and then feeds the audio mix back to the broadcast PC - it would be very easy to do with a setup like this where there's a physical mixer, but I'm not sure about software based solutions which I suspect is what you're more interested in. MarcoShouji
You can use VAC (virtual audio cable) to emulate an audio card, change the skype settings making this virtual card receive the incoming audio, and then use that deck in sam that allow to play the audio of a specific card (I don't remember which is. I've quit webradio years ago.) and change the pitch/tempo in SAM. But this will increase a bit the delay. 0.2~0.8sec approximately.
