Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm using Sam Broadcaster Version 4, it was working flawlessly for about a week and now suddenly out of the blue, when i go to load the Sam it says

 

"Unable to connect to database Error......... "

 

I made sure Firebird server was running and still sam would not load up. So i did a quick search on google and to no avail.

 

I'm running HP Window Vista Home 32 Bit SP2, so i heard that Sam and Firebird arn't that compatible with Vista so i tried running both programmes in compatible Window XP SP2 mode and still nothing. I also tried to uninstall Firebird and use mysql instead and still :(.

 

I tried to uninstall and reinstall but with Firebird Server running i can't even re-install it now !

I wasn't sure if this was the right place to post but please I really need some help !!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the link but still its unable to connect.The weird thing it connected when in installed SAM for the first time using the same database configuration.

Why don't you just put in a support ticket with Spacial Audio ? Probably the fastest way to resolve your issue.

SAM Broadcaster as known issues with windows 7 and windows vista. I did contact Spacial Audio and they told me its hit and miss at this moment untill they find a fix.. If you contact them thats what they will tell you not very helpful..

Why don't you switch from Firebird to mySQL.

 

And try setting the Affinity of the CPU.
