Internet Radio On The PS3??

OK ive seen alot of people on the ps3 forums asking how to stream internet radio on the PS3. I think its A real good way of getting more listeners aswell..Virgin Radio Have A Flash based player that they have coded to work with the PS3 from their site.So does anyone know how Virgin have done it and can code one themselves ??

Radio streaming via PS3? never heard of this but i suppose its some how possible. You can probably listen to it though via PS3 i'd of thought by going to the URL of the feed and listoning in.

No moonpeach it wont work this way the browser will not support the players. And sorry james wasint sure what forum to post this. I wish PS3 supported XMBC. But obviously if PS3 has a protocol for its own streaming media, its possible. Then again we are talking about a sony parent company system. That means neglect of codecs like children in sweat shops, and fears of liability like a turrets patient in a strip club.

The psp can pick up shoutcast radio so im sure they can program the ps3 to pick it up 2 easy

I know Loudcaster can do this too. I was told in their forum that it works and I'm beta testing for them right now. They even have 10 Gig AutoDJ

I can't remember the full process, but I remember I've been able to listen to internet radio on my PS3 through YourMuze (once called 'Moodio').

 

Whilst they allow users to listen to internet radio through their mobile phones, they also allow users to listen to internet radio stations 'on their computer', yet this also works via PS3.

 

I was searching for ages to try to find a way for me to listen to internet radio on my console... if only Sony could introduce this, it would be so much easier!
