Brutish Sailor
I told you one day I was going to find a way for AAC+ v2 flash - no wowza, in the past post here, and I finally figured it out with Ice2. KarlH newest trunk is awesome. www.hobbycaster.com/Test.flv If you check it out with VLC (its in flash), you will notice I have cracked the code to producing an AAC+V2 stream in flash without the use of WOWZA or some other flash media server. Im not even using an FLV encoder. Just simply taking an AAC+ v2 stream and renamed it. Look at the launch script if you have doubt. That means I can do this with any file type. That means any file type renamed into a .flv container= a stream that stays consistant enough for flash to never break, even when handled by multiple DJ's. Some limitations, but pretty stoked. I apologize for the streams flaws with the Demo, thats comming out of my living room for 32k (also take into factor the 6kbps for empty video container) not too shabby. The band has waved rights for royalties (no label/licensing entity), its the band "4" songs "flaxën" "fall" and " Follow" for the demo. Keep in mind this is an unsigned band. think of the baseline for that recording. A lot of decent output on that AAC+ .flv flash. Next stop? Flash NSV. Brutish Sailor
Im not trying to gloat about this, im just really stoked the technology is possible, as a year ago, this was one of the hopeful highlights for everyone. Also its not SWF. Im sure this can be done with swf, but its not. Technology has got a few more steps to make it perfect, but very cool. Bowljoman
I admit Im hooked on it too. Next stop? Flash NSV I had all this flying in 2009. Now with project thunder snow, you don't even need a transcoder at all. Flash can do all of the work. Including nsv..
