I like the look of your site. But when I try to listen, I can't. The player wants me to send a email to Wavestream. I hope you fix it. Contact me at jim@spacial.com and I can help you out and possibly get you a custom designed player just for your site.

Or he could just go and download native Flash player http://blog.codingexpert.de/?p=66 it works rather well and It's free

This is our homepage.

http://www.atc-radio.us

Looks nice but took a while to load, I would say ~15 seconds, which is quite a while to wait on a broadband connection.

Also I would say theres something missing, I cant quite put my finger on it but I am thinking perhaps having your full title on there somewhere and explaining what music you play because on first glance it could be anything, it just looks like a load of content managed stuff if you get what I mean?

I've been working on an update for our station prior to going live once again after a two year hiatus. We decided to get back into it in a big way, and with about a month to go before we re-launch, I've been working on thousands of little tweaks here and there, not to mention getting about 40,000 tunes ready to go. Thus far, we've gotten about 1200 tunes prepped and in the database. We're streaming on and off testing things out, so if you drop by, try tuning in and let me know how the stream sounds for you. I'd appreciate any and all feedback, constructive criticisms, and ideas. Pick the site apart and break anything you can. We need to be rock solid before our launch. http://www.radiobijoux.com Radio Bijoux, The Jewel

hey folks im new to bw ..wish i found it sooner alot of great info here...my best friend started our internet radio station 6 years ago he's since passed 4 years ago...and out of respect we kept the old website using jommla version 1.0..(which he built)...which is very much outdated so i went ahead and built a new site using a newer version of joomla 1.6 (which is already outdated)...took me about 6 months to do and still is a work in progress but for someone who never built a website i'm very proud of it....the two sites are:

original one: http://lastcall-radio.com/

new one: http://coco.lastcall-radio.com/

wow what a nightmare....you work hard to get something to look right only for different browsers to screw things up for you....i clicked on my chatroom link in the main menu on the new site im working on http://coco.lastcall-radio.com/ using google chrome and all of a sudden it puts the chatroom wayyyyyy at the bottom, yet ie and opera have it at the top where it belongs. so what changed it wasnt like this before guess im back to the drawing board on that....grrrrr

Sammy, good to see you here as well, and thanks for the comments. As for your site issues using Chrome, Chrome has an issue with some iframes or other "styling" features where if you use the px designation in your size (width = 300px) then it throws it into a conniption fit. What you need to do is remove any px designators and use strictly the numbers. (height = 800). That "should" work, but of course every situation is different. I had the same problem with Chrome pushing some of my blocks halfway down the page. Took a bit of research to track it down. Let me know if this helped!

thanks dj freaky......i went into the back end and it said the width could be adjusted in px's/percentage but the height it said only px's........so i tried something else ......i had the chatroom open in the parent window other then a new tab with navigation and it worked...i have alot of work still to do on this site.....its a work in progress for sure.
