mijamz
I am using SAM 4.7. I have it set up with FireBird database and all I want to do is learn how to update my request pages with new songs and even more importantly, remove all old outdated songs. This is so I can always ensure that the request pages are always updated with current songlist. Thanks, MI JamZ
GKIye
Solution to this can be found if you use the "search" tool, the same question has been asked into the past ... The short way : - Add all your music (tracks) into the directory Music Music ALL - if needed divided into different directories (album name ex: pop, oldies, etc etc) - See your config into SAM and write the right content (user, password, destination etc) into the HTML section. This enables your FTP commands - Now click "General" > HTML output > Generate and wait a minute or so - Once again click "General" > HTML output > choose "Generate Playlists" If you now visit your URL you gonna notice that all your playlists pages (0-9 and A-Z) are at your server Connect them to one of your current webpages and you're up and running Each time you're willing to update new content : add or delete content (tracks) into your Music Music All - refresh the list once again and do the same as written on top of this If you enable "requests" into the SAM config people gonna be able to request songs Hope this was usefull to you Visit and listen @ BW !
