billh
Hey Folks, I changed the design of my site and I would like your help/comments. Everything is working correctly, links, etc. (I hope) but I would like some reviews/comments. I kept a hillbilly theme, this design is a lot cleaner looking than what I had. Thanks in advance for you help/comments. Good or Bad Bill "I'm Retired" Donations PayPal.Me/artistview . I only do dry reads, if you want FX's you'll have to add them, I might add them. Arfa B
Personally, I think it looks very nice-......but, maybe a little tooo clinical on the eye as appropriate for the "theme/concept" of a hillbilly. The square/oblong boxes with rounded corners hit you immediately! I reckon it should be more errr layered- maybe a little like this http://www.cruisinradio.net/ at the top the lady playing guitar is in the foreground for example. I hope I am explaining myself properly here? Having said that, maybe it's just me that thinks this way??? Besides, I probably like looking at very pretty young Lady pirates! LOL!!! If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net Thank You! billh
hmmm now thats an idea putting a pretty young Lady on the site. Maybe I can find a pretty young hillbilly looking girl. AH! I just thought of something, I know just who to contact for one of them. My friend Mr. Hoodoo LOL Something like what he has on his page would be good LOL http://www.myspace.com/johnnyhoodoo "I'm Retired" Donations PayPal.Me/artistview . GKIye
Hi Bill, I have to make a similar review as Arthur ... The pages look too clean, even a bit to flat ... The background color who's used is great ... what makes that the aria where you write your content looks too white compaired with the overall look Entering that page should give a visitor a feeling of entering a Western bar, not with cowboys .. lol ... but somehow into a similar style. The template who's used is "good" but you have to change some of the basics, such as color, fonts ... in a way that it reflects to your Hillibilly caracter Visit and listen @ BW ! billh
I changed the fonts and added a wood background image. I need to change the text background. But I think is better, so far anyway. GKIye
Hi Bill, I didn't meant the background itself ... The first background you had was A-ok I meant the background of what is currently "white" ... "that" white aria looks too flat Visit and listen @ BW !
