GKIye
Hello Gary, To be honest ... all AGC settings of my SAM are set to "bypass" ... in other words disabled The EQ on your VOX fx can have a setup as you are used to do with a normal mixer ... If you use some dsp plugins the EQ of the VOX fx don't may have to high settings ... operational : - a small (+0,5) increase of the bass - small adjustements to the mid section (12k) to a -0,5 - the high section may have a +0,7 If you use some simple dsp plugins with the settings as written on top of this you have to achieve a nice dry sound of your mic Notice : thats my experience ... Offcourse it depends of what kind of voice is using the mic ... thats up to you If you wanna learn something more about compatible dsp plugins, please read my details as written into my sticky topics : http://forums.broadcastingworld.net/showthread.php?t=7200 Hope this was helpfull Visit and listen @ BW ! GKIye
Gary, Even with a cheap mixer (to put your mic on) and the right settings into the VOX fx you can achieve a nice sound As quoted earlier, it all depends of the voice of the host. That way you have to increase or decrease the values ... once again = the less as possible At the moment your adjustement is getting too high or too low, SAM gonna give clips ...
