benjm
Hi Ben, Welcome to BW Not sure if this is what your looking for but you can check it out http://forums.broadcastingworld.net/showthread.php?t=10351 Thanks for that I will look further into it. What I more meant was some software that allows me to assign tracks to a hardware button, upon pusing the button the track will play, much like a digital mixer with the buttons to play, pause and stop the song. GKIye
The only software / hardware to my knowledge who is able to do this is BPM Studio ... Mostly used during dj sets - songs (MP3) are updated into a laptop - by using hardware (play, pitch etc) a dj can play all tracks including some presets of SFX elements examples hardware (images) http://www.alcatech.com/html/images/rcp2001b.jpg http://www.alcatech.com/html/images/rcp1001.jpg example software (image) http://www.file-extensions.org/imgs/app-picture/2986/bpm-studio.jpg details and info at : http://www.alcatech.com Hope this is usefull ... johny c
As Bill said download ZaraRadio from my site. Zara has 9 buttons at the bottom where you can drop files in to play. There are 10 banks of 9 files. You play the files by using the number keys on your keyboard. What I use is a stand alone num pad which I have remaped with software for all the funtions of Zara. I also have a jingle player on my web site which you can use a mouse. You can find them at http://ragfm.com , go to links then Radio software. tormorten
Hello I was wondering if anybody could help me I have my studio as I would like it at the moment, im only 15 I have a mic and mixer, keyboard and computer etc. I was wondering if anybody knew of some hardware that connects to the computer with buttons. I would like to be able to assign each button a track (Usally a song or shout) If there are any of these could you please link me Thanks Ben Like everyone has said. ZaraRadio has this function. You will need to buy some kind of midi keyboard to run each of these sounds if you want something physical to touch. I think SAM Broadcaster also has a "jingle pad", and I'm it must be able to link it to keys on a midi keyboard (?). At the station where I work we have a pad like this, ours say DAVID but that may be because of our automation system (DIGAS). The closest I could come with a google-search is this: https://cars2.ebay.com.au/UMD-KMX128-Custom-8x16-Retail-POS-Keyboard-TMC-KMCV-C15_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ350222995076 Hope this helps :-)
