Are there any other Benefits to Re Encoding my music to FLAC?? :confused: Even after 24 years of being a DJ im still getting used to whats what when it comes down to Digital music. s3miku Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Gary if your going to covert the mp3s you have now , you wont get any better quality than what they are now. Yes, converting mp3s to FLAC will not change the quality since some of the quality has already been lost in the compression from raw audio (perhaps from vinyl) into the mp3 file itself. Because this compression is destructive, converting a 320 kbps or 128 kbps mp3 file will not change the quality at all Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
