johny c
I have had it for a while and havnt had any warnings from my scanner (Advast), it could just be a false + on it or the web sit was corrupted after I had downloaded mine RAG-FM 107.7 Raglan New Zealand & ragfm.com ........"Top Music Top of the Dial" Click HERE to listen to the RAG-FM radio stream

Aeolus
Of course it's a false positive, like if winamp would put virusses in their own software :D
djgary72
Winamp are blamin unscrupulous people who run the NIS for putting out a bad installer. So any program with the NIS installer from now on will be handled with Kid gloves! My Blog https://djgarybaldy.blogspot.com User of RadioDJ FREE radio playout software since 2010. Aeolus
I don't have a clue what a NIS installer is, but i guess it's installer software which winamp uses to let people install it... but what if it is the fault of the creator of that installer? Like i said, winamp would never put a virus in their own software, because it will kill them.
djgary72
It was Flagged up in an installer i had downloaded from the winamp site ..... id imagine someone at AOL is gonna be in the firing line ! johny c
Sometimes virus scanners get it wrong with false +'s. Ive had it happen to me with Advast trying to tell me a vst plugin was a virus (when I knew it was clean), it was fixed the next time Advast did an update. Theres nothing wrong with Winamp Gary, keep using it. lapianoman
Norton gave me a warning last night when I downloaded the latest Audacity installer. Can't imagine there's an issue there either...
