billh
I just got a SPAM email from a member trying to sell me air time to advertise my web hosting site. Now why in the world would you SPAM another member to sell them air time? 1: I am a member. See my post count, Don't you think I'd say something? 2: I have my own station, I have listeners from around the world (gee thats what they offered me). 3: If I wanted air time, I think I know a few people that I can contact. I might even get it for free, who knows. Please I don't care who you are don't be dumb enough to SPAM other members with offers to sell them air time. Thats like, I don't know I can't come up with the right words . What do you say about something like this? Plus to top it off, You sent me SPAM of all people. You should know better than that. jamesdean
Report them to James, spammers not welcome, needs banning, whoever they are!
billh
I told James who it was. I just wanted them to know what I thought about them sending me SPAM. It made me wounder if the they sent SPAM to anyone else that placed a banner on BW. The only income James gets that I know of to support the site is from the ad's he sells. If others are spamming people that place ad's, I don't think they'll place another one. If they know where it came from. Which isn't to hard seeing they are trying to sell you air time. The only thing is, they made a mistake in sending it to me. As they found out I will say something about it. Spinny
LMAO spamming for customers to advertise through members of a site where the majority have their own stations or Dj for a station....now that's called big time stupidity. Tom

Our clients pay good money to advertise on our site, i HATE people who spam in PM's or areas other than the dedicated spam forum. - James Studiio - All-In-One Radio Communication Platform SMS | Phone Calls | Social Media | Content
billh
I wasn't sent a PM. They went to my site and used the Contact Form I have for Support. I just didn't think it was right. Just because I have a Banner Ad on BW doesn't mean SPAM me and try selling me air time. I can tell you right now if I was anyone else I just might say remove my ad and I would not take out another one. It would be like, What I get an ad with you and now I get SPAM offers trying to sell me air time? Thats not a very good idea. Just because someone has an ad on BW doesn't mean contact them and try selling them air time. Don't you think people will know where you came from? 1: I take out an ad on a broadcasting site. 2: Now I get spam offers trying to sell me air time. 3: I won't be doing business with this site again. James needs to get income from banners to help support the site. He doesn't need members contacting the site or sites just because they have a banner on BW. It makes BW and us (the members) look bad in the end. As I said, You take out an ad on BW, Next you get SPAM from an online station trying to sell you air time. BW + Air Time Offers (SPAM) = BW sends out SPAM no matter how you look at it. "I'm Retired" Donations PayPal.Me/artistview .
