Let me introduce myself,

 

I am a technical monkey, I am a kind and polite monkey,

 

However, when I came across this post, I just couldn't help saving it as a PDF and also sharing the link on here!

 

If the post gets removed, please let me know, and I'll share the PDF

 

However, I'm pleased we made the switch to RadioDJ for SO many reasons, and so many techincal headaches have been removed due to it's simplicity, versatility and adaptability.

Both you guys on here (Thanks BroadcastingWorld) and the guys on RadioDJ forums (Thanks RadioDJ forums) couldn't be more helpful. You made our switch from SAM Broadcaster to RadioDJ seamless!

I've been on several forums and seen Spacial Audio being blasted (from members of BCW on other forums) for:

  • Not working correctly
  • Curt responses by Forum personnel
  • Festerhead calling people 'turds'

Really getting sick of this.

 

People report SAM not working properly and but they do not provide one iota of documentary evidence to support the claim.

 

Every forum has rules, and if you violate the rules, you get a warning. Here on BCW also, you get a warning.

 

The poster accusing Steve of calling someone a turd, took it totally out of context. Here is what was said:

Being a turd to the volunteers is a good way to burn bridges.
The comment was directed to the small handful of posters who give no respect to their fellow broadcasters or forum staff.

 

OK, I'm done.

Its about time Spacial had a Clean sweep of Tech support!

 

Festerhead calling people Turds etc. is Not Acceptable. ON any other forum hed have been given the Boot! He thinks hes far to Superior to everyone else (even on the winamp forums) when at the end of the Day were all Broadcasters trying to achieve the Same Goal.

 

And SAM isnt Flawless It does fail and im afraid Fails Far too often when a program cant handle 80+ hours worth of music with a 24hr no repeat of songs without throwing a fit n just playing station ID's then theres a big issue. And when you want advice you just get either

 

A) Ignored

B) Spoken to in an Inappropriate manner

 

I certainly want nothing more to do with It !!! I may Try SAM again someday when the Program and Support Improves! But the Latter I Doubt!

They really do need to take a Long Hard look at the customer services! and as for being a troll well .... Thats not usually an Insult its a compliment!

I thought I would post a response to the post I made about SpacialAudio support.

 

The person in question has messaged me privately stating that I should take this up with other moderators not post im public, yet he has a)called my customer a turd, and b) banned him calling him a 'troll'

 

However, he obviously didn't read my post and realise that I had posted the message to SpacialAudio support staff directly.

 

Here is the reply from my ticket (rather than the forums)

I'm truly sorry for the quality of service provided by our company.

I have sent your feedback along to the president of our organization. We wilt examine ways to improve our support forums. Moderators that exercise bad customer service will be handled as needed.

Thanks Gary, but most of us are professional and polite.

 

You are correct, most people do know this, especially on forums..... and having known DJ-GaryBaldy for some time I know he is the most polite and considerate customer I have.

 

 

I would also like to take this chance to thank Paul Merrell from SpacialAudio for recognising the fact that their support is dire, not just on this occasion but in general

 

I'm truly sorry for the quality of service provided by our company.
