theatre of the mind radio
Hi All... hope you dudes can help me.... I have a pal script running for a TOTH time announcement. Here's what I want to do.... from 06.00 to 18.00 run these time announcements with a randon music mix from a clockwheel setup of.... music music advert music music ID music music filler ....repeat This is all working beautifully using a clockwheel and the PAL script running a voice at TOTH and bottom of the hour.... no problems here. (I am a total retard where PAL scripting is involved but thanks to GKR Europe, I am using one of his excellent resources) BUT.... I cant find a way of turning off the pal time announce from 18.00 because I want to run another clockwheel that does this.... WITHOUT THE PAL TIME ANNOUNCE! DRAMA CATEGORY 1 Station ID Advertisment DRAMA CATEGORY 2 Station ID Advertisment DRAMA CATEGORY 3 Station ID Advertisment DRAMA CATEGORY 4 repeat till 05:58 Then run the music clockwheel the next day WITH TIME ANNOUNCE..... Anyone???????????????
GKIye
The Event Sheduler can't stop a PAL but ... You can write into your PAL => loop:false that way every time the PAL has played it gonna stop If it has to be activated once again, make an Event with a new command aka new time and day(s) add the starttime of the event about 10 - 15 seconds before the PAL has to be excecuted Visit and listen @ BW ! The Hermit
If you need the script to loop a few times, leave the first Loop command set to true, and then add this to the end of the script: IF (NOW >= T['18:00:00']) THEN BEGIN PAL.Loop := False; END; Set the time as necessary.
