KBLB
Hi, I'm completely new to using SAM Boardcaster, so please forgive me for my ignorance. I'm using SAM Broadcaster version 4.2.2, running on a Windows Vista computer with a Realtek High Definition Audio soundcard. I bought a Benhringer Xyenx 1620FX mixer and I've want to connect my mixer to SAM. I've figured out how to communicate the audio that I'm running off of SAM to my mixer, however I can't seem to figure out how to get my mixer to communicate with SAM -- meaning, when I speak with my microphone (which is, obviously, connected to my mixer) I can't get SAM to pick up the audio coming from my microphone or rather my mixer. I'm confused due to the fact that when I record into Adobe Audition, it picks up my microphone just fine. What am I doing wrong?
GKIye
You can try this : - visit your config > audio mixer > set this one to "silent output" That way your soundcard is available - now enter with your mic or mixer to your pc by using "line in" In general you have to find now the signal at the config of your "voice fx" By the way don't forget to activate your "voice fx" PS : YES SAM is capable to stream into a silent modus Hope this was helpfull ... KBLB
First and foremost, GKREurope, thank you so very much for replying back to my thread. I deeply appreciate it!!! I assume you are referring to the "Output Driver" and changing that to "Silent output." If so, I have tried that and still nothing is registering. Oh, and I have made sure my Voice FX is activated! Now I know my microphone works, because when I use SAM's Voice-tracking, it registers my microphone through my mixer. I simply make my Sound caputure device as "Line In" and my Preview audio device as "Primary Sound Driver." This works just fine, but when I try to use Voice FX, still nothing picks up....Any other ideas?
