islandmix
Couple more noob questions... 1. my current stream service allows me to stream ASX, PLS and works with BlackBerry... my question is how do i show a JPG/Image on the mobile device or windows player when using AUTODJ? Does the JPG of song playing have to have a related image or is there another way to do it in CENTOVA CP? 2. I want to temporarily stream an existing shoutcast stream that i am playing through my windows media player ... to my server... there is a live event that i want to also broadcast from another stream and after the show i want to switch back to my autodj without losing listeners... Any info on the above will be great.
Reslez
After assuming you are using SAM... 1- Great question, I really hope to hear the answer! 2- In your cue, add url of the stream you wish to relay. Same for the live show's media url. Up to you whether anything airs between them. Then back to a station library mp3. Alternatively, you can set it up as a PAL script, there is an excellent one to be found in that forum to suit. Rather though, I would suggest you attend the server while the productions play out, so as to monitor and cue manually. With the PAL script method, although there is recovery programmed into place, if one of your relay streams loses its integrety, and you are not there to address, get your handbasket, your going for a ride.
