richpickins
Hi Everyone I will be presenting a show for the very first time soon on a new community radio station. Something I have always wanted to do but never thought I would get the opportunity. It's been great fun doing the training and I am looking forward to going on air! Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated by this 55 year old rookie, I will be doing a one hour show featuring Country,Folk & Pop music. I am thinking about setting up an internet radio station, is this a good idea or am I being too ambitious?? More later Richpickins:clap:
billh
Hi Rich, Welcome to BW. Just be yourself when your doing the show. As for a Internet Station, before you get into it to far you might want to try using a free host there two that I can think of http://www.listen2myradio.com/ and http://freestreamhosting.org/ I have tried both of them and I think freestreamhosting is a little better. But Listen2myRadio has gone thru some upgrades from what I understand. So the service could be better. Try it see if you like, if you like it then you can get a stream host. There are a number of members that offer stream hosting and they post Special offers sometimes. Good luck "I'm Retired" Donations PayPal.Me/artistview . I only do dry reads, if you want FX's you'll have to add them, I might add them. If you use my voice please link to my art site AbstractArtist.xyz, Thank you
