Best SAM Broadcaster Settings

What is the best settings that you (radio stations especially) have found in SAM Broadcaster...let me be a bit more specific as this is a multiple questions.

With the questions below, obviously the higher bitrate is better, but how do you make the little tweaks to make each specified bitrate sound awesome?

What are the best Crossfade Settings?

What are the best SHOUTcast MP3 Settings? (Specifically 64, 96, & 128kbps)

What are the best AAC+ Settings?

What are the best ICEcast Settings? (Specifically 64, 96, & 128kbps)

What are some tips for new SAM users?

I have found that all of the other broadcasters settings did not suit me. I experimented with SAM until I found settings that I was happy with.

Bump...guys this one is definitely experimental...

I find that OTB, SAM doesn't give the best (they're ok) CF settings, but SPL does. I experimented with the SPL settings, while putting some of my own into SAM

And then I experimented with some other independent settings I found on the net...Each station owner has their own settings which makes their sound unique to their station.

See this thread:

Last post. Experiment with your own indivdual settings (Gap Killer and CF Point Detection). Of course SAM's Fade time doesn't go up to 12 secs. I simply leave that at 0.0, because it will play in at full level. Sounds much better than just fading IN

Since it is 2013, the best MP3 settings mean that they should ALL be uniform at one specific bit rate to achieve the best OUTput sound possible.

When I got back, I debated buying the latest version of SAM. but then......

Theirs a few bugs permission bugs with it (all convenience stuff, expected considering it has no hard database, XML POWER!) , minor stuff I've found work arounds for last night.

But yeah, I tried the newest version of Lunar Caster. I need to start pouring money on the donations for the development of this.

Im calling some friends over today to help me on just this, my old local buddys, but the developer has outdone himself on this for an open broadcaster. I was amazed, and maybe within a few weeks, I almost want to make this program the bassline for all my newest broadcast tutorial videos, not to mention Paul (the developer) is just "the man" nuff said.
