tammie216
Hi, I am old school so i remember studios that were piled up. Faith Base Internet studios counter is capable of being a low profile or room to clutter up. i like the low profile but i have alot of stuff piled up. not sure what i like better. but here is our studio IF it uploads correctly. What you think?
Arfa B
My current studio looks like the pit it is.... I grew up with real crappy turntables, knackered reel-to-reel machines, buggered cart machines, and no-one to clean the place up unless a jock got so sick of it he shovelled out the piles of s**t once a week or so. We had more important things to worry about than making the place look pretty- avoiding the airwaves police, chasing Girlies and we were there to make the station sound great, no, more than that- make it sound THE BEST!!! Aaaaaaaaa, the sweet memories of... Cigarette burns on the desk, nicotine stained ceilings and walls, noisy faders, tea and coffee formed a 2 inch pool inside the bottom of the mixer that had draining holes- now that is what I call REAL radio!!! If I have helped you with a Freebie- please be kind enough to add a link from your own site or blog to mine- thanks! http://arthurburton.net Thank You! GKIye
I agree with you all ... Arthur is writing some all time memories of radio .. its a fact that the atmosphere or "the air" in a studio is most important to create the real feeling of making radio to a lot of projects (also National stations) that feeling is getting lost because of "to clean" Tammie = hey .. you have even CatWoman as host at your station .. thats real special .. I may hope that her contract is being paid with food and milk ... lol Visit and listen @ BW !
Jinglemaster
Well, having just seen your studios and I hope you have now read my PM, you will know why I will be more than happy to do as many voice overs and jingles as you like. I am also very impressed. That is a serious studi set up correctly. I wish you every success with the station. I know it will succeed.
