GKIye
ok ... This ain't an advertisement ! As new broadcaster and/or hobbycaster you need software to convert your files Imagine that you can do all this with one single software ... You can even convert video to any possible extension Easy if you receive a .wav file and you need it as .mp3 ... if you don't have any other software You can convert multiple files at the same time Choose the software called "SUPER" - freeware all the way and it works over and over again details : http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html direct download : SUPER Enjoy ! cr08
Honestly I much sooner recommend dbpoweramp in this case simply because it feels like it was designed for station owners. Anyone who has used it I am sure can back me up. Batch encoding with filter and folder drill-downs, MANY source and output codec options, lots of 'DSP' options (including cleaning up/modifying ID tags). SUPER is ok, but just isn't really made for the job unless you are doing one-off encodes. dbPoweramp is well worth the money imho. Throw in MediaMonkey and you pretty much have my workspace for managing the library on my station.
saint
Excellent find ! Windows does have its share of good Free / Open Source software ... but it still does not hold a candle to what you can do with Unix and all the software available in the various repositories ;) Relaxing Entertainment For The World - - www.ScenicRadio.com

GKIye
Your right for sure ... but I made the post for reason that junior broadcasters don't have "the" software and money ... to convert all their IDs, reads, etc for that reason I proposed "Super" I've used this stuff about a year ago Now I'm using another converter... Brutish Sailor
I've used super, just because it does exactly what its name says with Flash H.261 conversions. Very easy and effective. Its so simple that it gets difficult to use at times. Also if you dont know what your doing with SUPER, it can really cause some havoc. Kinda like an audacity without safetys. But its coded very simple and flexable. I remember the first time I got it as well. Trying to download it from the site was like trying to play a video game with one hand on the controller and another with a gun in my mouth. I probably downloaded so much malware in the process it kinda killed the excitement that would make me talk about this program. Urban Hitz Radio
Super. Thanks. I have never heard of this program before. I'll give it a try. I use dBpoweramp and NCH Switch. These two are very easy for me to use and they have made my life a whole lot easier. I love the shell integration that dBpoweramp provides, as well as switch. Simply right click on the file, you want to work with, and viola. dBpoweramp also does Folder batch conversion...woohoo! update: I installed Super and after 2 minutes proceeded to uninstall it. The interface is so complicated. I wasn't willing to waste time figuring out what to do. Thanks, JE -- JE .::.(())::. Urban Hitz Radio™ USA .::.(())::. The People' Choice for Hip-Hop & R&B! Thanks, JE It looks complicated, but in reality, its made like that for people looking to tweak recordings beyond normal capability's. Its like "handbreak" for audio. Not the program for bulk changes, but for individual audio processing, still my favorite. KNSJ.org / 89.1 FM San Diego
