Update ...

about the TuneIn.pal (can be found also at http://inside.radiotime.com/developers/api/air )

I just noticed that my project is already added to their stations directory ... and that way I have a stationID (s......)

I wrote their services to send Me the other details (partnerID and Key)

I guess there gonna be fellow BW members who are also into that directory without the knowledge that they are submitted

Update 2

I received already the next day my partnerID and Key

so thumbs up for the crew of radiotime.com

Thanks for sharing Rob

... but I still wonder when SAM gonna get a real beatmatching plugin

These days there is a smooth beat fade ...

it would be an achievement to stations who are playing Dance and similar genres

Very much requested feature, I would not be surprised to see something like that in SAM5.

Improve it as little as they want SAM is still over priced when you consider theres Better alternatives out there and some of them free!

Not much has changed and i said as much B4 this was released Seen the new Version and all it is a few Skin tweaks!

Doubt any Major changes will even come with SAM5.

I think it is pretty sweet. Looks like they have done a revamp of the whole GUI and rebranded with a new logo. The new GUI improvements actually makes running a LIVE show from SAM so much easier. I really like the design and overall changes to the app. Looks great and has a more professional 'feel' to it.

The Triton Media Group that now owns a Spacial Audio has spent some serious time and money on development of the app along with the website and the forums!

Just recent resolved a CPU issue that I had been experiencing for some time, thanks to the SAM Support forums (http://support.spacialnet.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=33996) and now I LOVE SAM Broadcaster!

I have not had one problem that I was not able to get support for through their forums or these.

Good job!

Thanks for the link to the SA forum

I think many users have similar problems ... but most of Us don't know the source of the problem

Currently I installed the tool who is mentioned at that topic (TaskAssign)

resolved a CPU issue that I had been experiencing for some time,

lets say ... knock on wood and lets see if everything works out

Baldy, as much as you bash SAM you probably don't need to be viewing this section. You hate SAM. We get it.

Im entitled to an opinion tho Right????

Ive seen SAM go from 2.7.9 to Present 4.9.0 with Very little improvement .

I gave it lots n lots of chances and finally gave up on it after it screwed my new year party up when i had at least 15 listeners most id ever had. now ive given up on Internet radio for the time being ill be sticking with RadioDJ when i do relaunch!

Spacial took far too long to get SAM functioning right even 4.9.0 is Reported to have CPU issues ....

I've been using SAM for a few years now and I like it, the new improvements show that they are back on track, I like the new interface.

For me SAM 4.9 is :thumbup:

I have a small problem with coding the "Schedule event" with playing from a directory in Lemming Rules (random logic) but when I change it to normal Random it works fine. I will ask the SAM forum if they know a solution and will post it in this thread.

Everything else works just great for me.

Not finding the SAM 4.9.1 download on the Spacial.net site.

Apparently it was once there, but is no longer.

also @ EricVdm I have the same issue reported in SAM forums about the double playing by player decks A&B

So far it has been 7 times today. The only solution to this was to disable all the pal scripts and so far so good

Since I saw your post in Sam forum, thought this may help you but I am only a kiddie around the block with this solution.

Appreciate any solutions !!

I am aware they are introducing 4.9.2 as posted above but user who tested the beta version 4.9.2 has already reported the same issue. Below is an extract from SAM forum

"urrghh, i Tried SAM 4.9.2 (B2) with AUTODJ ... and now, the same problem, both decks are playin´ ....

SAM with MYSQL ..."

I've been visiting the forum of SAM about this topic and notice that this is a beta version and not the final update so they still can change things. I also reported this bug and never get an replay but so I can see they tried to fix it, I think they get thousands of bug reports and can't answer them all but still try to fix it, best thing to do is wait thil the final version is out and see how that will work on your system.
