Dingo
Hi Guys Is anyone using http://shoutautomation.com ? Looks like a cool idea but noticed a couple of dead links on their site plus it say 2010 in the footer so not sure if they are still going or if they are not maintaining things ? Any views welcome as it does look a neat idea......
galaxymatt
They are still going and recently released a new version of their system so they are still active , We recently stopped using this service because we had to cut our budget. In our experience it was a bit temperamental but does have some good features like automated song requests , automatic switching between live dj and auto dj , voicetracking etc. I would definatly ask for a free trial before paying any of their fees though. Wavestreaming have also developed a similar system called 'Cloud DJ'. http://galaxy247.net/files/outreach_4.gif
Dingo
I like the look of cloudDJ , I guess I am worried about what you mean by 'tempremental' with shoutautomation.. Although whilst I like SAM that too does my head in ever now and then being tempremental so perhaps no differemce.
djgary72
Although whilst I like SAM that too does my head in ever now and then being tempremental so perhaps no differemce. No way SAM was being temperamental .... thats a first (Note The sarcasm) Having looked at the Shoutcast automation website while i think the idea is great, having to pay an extra $50+ dollars a month for shoutcast servers on top would put me off overpriced for what it actually does. Just my tuppence worth My Blog https://djgarybaldy.blogspot.com User of RadioDJ FREE radio playout software since 2010. How to Install RadioDJ: https://djgarybaldy.blogspot.com/2020/08/how-to-install-radiodj-free-radio.html RadioDJ is my FAVOURITE piece of software it works when I need It
Dingo
Yeah works out about 30 for what I wanted, but might be good as we use multiple djs around the world, not going to spend money on Sam and multiple clients.... Food for thought at the moment
