Just Happened to view a link on Twitter that pointed to the SAM Broadcaster Download Page. On the Downloads Page You will Observe the Bit underlined at the Top quite Clearly says "Free Radio Automation software" Eh?? SAM costs $299 Yes Free to try But NOT Free. The Page Title is Misleading False and If Spacial were UK based would have been Clamped down on By Trading Standards. I have however Pointed this out to the American Equivalent FTC. Spacial Cannot get away with stuff like this and They are beginning to look A) Cowboy like B) Desperate C) A laughing stock To the MODS From Spacial Berate me all you like But this is The TRUTH. GKIye Posted April 17, 2012 Share Posted April 17, 2012 Hello Gary, I really don't know where you get your info Unless I have an other internet connection who sees websites into an other way ... this is my view on that page Next to the slide of the screenshots I read : "Try it for free" Below of that : "buy + price" I'm a SAM user, I don't promote SAM ... but also I don't make complains about similar software made by other compagnies or provided as open source and be sure that I made a setup of several other similar software as trial etc ... Apparently it is only on http://spacial.com/sam-broadcaster My best guess is it is Spacial's marketing 'genius' pushing for more page views and SEO. You figure if someone searches for something related and that page pops up in the search result, first thing they see is 'Free Radio Automation Software'. Good hook, eh? The Title Page as been changed this morning and we are sorry for the inconvenience. Ahh well that's that sorted now.
