Zimdjsounds
Hi All. I have a question and your help in answering it is greatly appreciated : we have 25 live djs / presenters on our station who broadcast at various times. We also use www.shoutcaststreaming.us #s autodj service and we are very happy with it. still learning about it and have relied on the support team to lead me in the right direction. I have a question, before we started using autodj we could program Sam Broadcaster through event scheduler to kick in at a time when the presenter before me stopped his encoders. Now when we do that autodj at times kicks in before the encoders of the next presenter comes in and then to stop autodj we have to access the autodj panel and manually stop it ...this is where the problem lies: someone has to be there all the time to stop autodj just in case .....just want to know (for those who use centovacst) if there is anyway one can stop autodj source automatically to allow their encorders in via event scheduler in their absence? Zimdjsounds
Problem Solved, thanks to those who took their tim eto read, here is the answer: https://www.fastserv.com/ and Randy in support has gone out of his way to set up a system which sees our autodj streaming 24/7 and just by starting our SAM encoders on their local machine our presenters break into that stream and they automatically go live without any interruption to listeners ..smooth as you like and when they finish they just stop their encoders and autodj seamlessly takes over ...the great thing is it was not a service they were offering so when I spoke to him about what I was after and he kept in touch everyday testing different setups until he nailed it ,,..he made is possible for the same fee as what he charges for autodj .... we are loving it so have a word with him on the above link and tell him that VisionsRadio referred you.
