Spinny
Well, here are the results of the hearing. It isn't pretty as usual. http://www.kurthanson.com/category/issue-title/house-judiciary-subcommittee-holds-hearing-webcast-royalties Tom
Vanlen
Very interesting indeed. So we pay for music we play out of pocket to start and making revenues maybe....a BIG maybe to cover internet radio costs and we are all willing to pay fair royalties but they, the powers that be, seem to be saying that the IRFA will be a hindrance? Sell more ads? Pay the piper.....Just plain greed and nothing more. Spinny
I couldn't agree more. For a politician to tell Pandora to sell more ads was stupid crazy. If the royalty rates continue as they are, we'll all just throw out the music and just play ads. When that happens we won't need a license cause no music will be playing.
