Events & Clockwheels

Recommended Posts

Events and clockwheels are starting just fine but how do get the different genre clockwheel to stop once the other one starts.

In my clockwheel I run my genre 5 tracks a station ID for a few hours then I want to change genre's but what I get is a mixture of both genre's running.

Any and all suggestions are welcome,

Movement Master

What you describing is simply not possible, when you load a clockwheel it replaces the currently running clockwheel, what you may mean there are still tracks "left over" in the queue from the previous genre. If that is the case 1) reduce the # of tracks SAM keeps in the queue and 2) issue a PAL command using the ES to clear the queue. Queue.Clear;

I think you are confused with clockwheels and PAL scripts, they are not the same. A clockwheel is a file with a cwf extension, pals have a pal extension. Yes two or more pals scripts can run at the same time along with a single clockwheel, however only one actual clockwheel can be running at a time. Please post what you are calling your clockwheel and pal.

When I create and event I clikc the PAL button and go to my PAL file to load my clockwheels that I creatd for each show. What do you mean when you say a cwf file extension and where do you save those to be used later? Do they use the same coding as PAL nad the only difference the extension?
