lolgregory
Hey, I was thinking about making a soundproof room in my house to be able to record guitars with cranked amplifiers without having people complaining (neighbors, family). So I've decided to start searching the web for advice. My main question is if the size of the room have an impact on the sound. Also, if you know of any guide or good sites containing useful information about this, it would be really appreciated. :waoh:
Punk101
first things first, is the room going to be just for you?? or do you plan on having room for multiple people (guitars, drums, amps, etc...) it will all depend on how much equiptment will be in the room when you are recording. I have a home recording studio for my band that is quite large (room for all mentioned above) If you want any soundproofing instructions (what is best to use) let me know. Hope I can help.
