carlwelden
I think it really boils down to which one you learned on, because you're always going to be partial to the one you know the most about. Hey, I learned on an Apple II E in 1984! (their 3rd model) then the Commodore Amiga 2000. I use A PC now, their advantage being their ubiquity. (quck! run for the dictionary!) If I was doing graphic design, video editing for a living, I probably would have gone the Apple route. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3122/2632146169_b223dfb2b8.jpg I googled this image of an Apple II E that got me all nostalgic for it's chunky, beige bulk (though I could be referring to the sweater vest too). Blazin 97
PC's and MAC's are good in their own ways, PC's are better with music, photos, files and media, and MACs are better with documents and powerpoint and editing things. But I personally prefer PC's.
jax_rox
we use Macs for all production, but our on-air system is PC.
JunaWeb
Mac is great for stuff like this but I'm just too used to PC. I've built many PCs over the years, built 0 Macs, parts are more expensive
