manneringmedia
Hi, I am using RadioBoss for my station automation, and having problems getting it to do as i would like. I have tried different settings but failed to get the results i want, but instead of going into details of the settings i have tried let me explain what i would like. I have a number of prerecorded programs in the timer control section that i want to start at specific times, when there is a gap between programs i would like the tracks in the main player section to play from where the last track ended when the Timed recording started (ie; Not to go back to the start of the main player list). Something like this; Main player plays tracks 1,2,3,4... At 9am prerecorded program starts in Schedule section, at 9.55am program ends. Main player plays tracks 5,6,7,8... At 12Noon prerecorded program starts in Schedule section, at 1.55pm program ends. Main player plays tracks 9,10,11,12... and so on. At the moment i am playing tracks from Main Player and the scheduled program starts when the track in the main player ends (not a problem really, just that the scheduled program may start 2-3 mins late). But after the scheduled program ends and control is passed back to the Main player, the playlist starts at the beginning again. So between each scheduled program, the Main player simply repeats the tracks at the top of the list and never works through the entire playlist. Any help would be much appreciated, Ian. djsoft
Ian, Please make sure you're using the latest version - RadioBOSS 4.8.3.0 (http://www.djsoft.net/) or beta version RadioBOSS 4.9 (http://www.djsoft.net/smf/index.php/topic,3326.0.html). To make it start scheduled event immediately, in the Event properties put a checkmark for "Run scheduled launch without waiting for current track to finish". → RadioBOSS Radio Automation Software: http://www.djsoft.net → RADIOBOSS.FM Icecast/Shoutcast stream hosting.
