Hi I have just upgraded to Audition 3.0 from my trusty Cool Edit Pro and I am having problems with the prog in edit mode , I can not get a smooth edit and it stops and jumps. I guess it may be a RAM issue and I may need to increase my RAM. Just wondered if anyone else had seen this issue.

James thats what I think too...I believe AA 3.0 is Ram hungry. Looking to get a mate to build me a new computer soon so will make sure I get plenty of RAM put in.

Mark

i am currently upgrading my ram for studio too hehe.

I have cured my problem with Audition 3.0 and I have got a new computer with 3g Ram and it works a dream. I have the old one as a spare but it was getting on. Doing most of my work on Audition 3.0 and other bits with Cool Edit pro.

I think its safe to say that more Adobe products are RAM hungry... even Adobe Reader

I haven't tried Audition 3.0, I'm still on Cool Edit Pro on my Windows machine.... though I've just invested in Logic Pro on my Mac

Well I was a user of Cool Edit Pro until I moved onto Audition 3.o which I am really enjoying. For what I do it is ideal. However Cool Edit is used from time to time still as it is a great little programme. Now I have 3g Ram AA 3.0 works a dream.
