isaacl
Came across this today: http://partner.nobexradio.com/ Looks like they offer free customized apps for your online station/stream. Has anyone used this? Any feedback? Thanks! A proud licensed SAM Broadcaster user since 2010.
Brutish Sailor
I had this big thought written out better. Summerized? I really like Nobex. Unfortunately, their license covers nobex, not independent apps for you. So (if you were in the US) you have to pay PRO's to launch from an independent app. I cant do that. SO? I just built a mobile redirect instead that works for android, I-phone, and gives my links for social networks. I call it the "Anti-app" if you go to http://www.beattransit.com with a mobile device, it will redirect. Its still browser based, keeping it legal. Brutish Sailor
Chick from the Mv Veay ad looks hot. The ONLY big issue with your app I see is it was done using some HTML5/Flash voodoo. It skipped strait to flash for me on my S4. Maybe because its an AAC+ codec. The nice thing about HTML5 Audio (that most people dont realize) is that it actually Hijacks the intent.audio functions in androids JS, so that the phone wont sleep the audio. If you try my android player with an android device you will see what I mean. Its written in pure HTML, so no flash support. But yeah, phone wont sleep. cr08
I have to ask with these browser based players: During playback are they persistent if you 'multitask' to another app or the home screen or lock the device? It seems to me they'd act just like anything else in the browser and would outright stop playing because the device will force it to since it is not actively in front of the user. I haven't had a chance to test it myself personally since I am currently rom-hopping on my main device. I did check it out in an emulator though and love the app feel of the one Jim linked.
