Look at in this photo at that vu-meter software.You can tell me the name of this software please? If you can't, please tell me a software like this, with vu-meter to capture the sound from sound card.

Its a very small picture, and even with zooming in, it ain't that easy

 

If You are willing to record audio content ... setup Adobe Audition

It gonna record and gonna give You the quality equal to the source of the music

Even better, after making the recording You can edit the content

such as: remove clicks, normalize the sound wave, tweak regions of the content ... and if needed You can make a master of it

to master = Izotope is a very, lets say even the best software, and it has a superb default "mastering" setting

Sorry for answering so late, but there are plenty of audio recording software available. First of all, you haven't specified your platform. Mac, Windows, Linux?
