James Posted November 16, 2013 Share Posted November 16, 2013 The problem is that is a private IP address that can only be accessed within a network. (192.168.x.x), nobody but yourself and people within your network should be able to see that. You need a public IP address (provided by your telco) in order to stream. djsoft Posted November 20, 2013 Share Posted November 20, 2013 djultra89, You'll need to know your real IP address (not the local network one) - you can get it on a web site like http://whatismyipaddress.com/ After you know your address, try tuning in to http://your-real-ip:8001/stream.ogg If that still doesn't work, it's likely that you're behind a router and you need to setup port forwarding. Another issue here if your ISP didn't provide you a static IP address - your external IP address will change from time to time. To ease up things you may consider using stream hosting services. → RadioBOSS Radio Automation Software: http://www.djsoft.net → RADIOBOSS.FM Icecast/Shoutcast stream hosting. Google Chrome could not connect to 151.224.198.26:8001[/h]now i have port forwarded 8001 in my router both inbound and outbound and iv added a service as well..... in my router i have put 192.168.0.150 in my router.... but i don't understand why its not working please help me. i have team viewer if you would like to team view with me??????
