What is Best WHM Sonic or Centova Cast

For me, Centova is hands down a much better product. With WHMSonic, if my memory serves me correct, you have to manually create your playlist or have it shuffle. But your ad's and drops need to be placed manually, or if in shuffle mode you risk have too many drops played back to back to back to ba... well you get the idea.

With Centova everything is nice and orderly. You can have the system plays spots every X songs, and also integrate various types of playlists that can play at specific times. I'm not sure if the latest from WHMsonic does this, as we no longer use/offer it.

Another decent one is Cast Control, which I think is also better than WHMsonic. But out of the three I'd say hands down Centova is the best.

As a station owner, once we started to use Centova, there was no turning back.

Yes, Centova's UI is far far from perfect. But the idea of it is not outdated.

I think great strides have been made with the latest version of Centova. No software is perfect, but Centova is still "king" of the "Big Three" (Centova, Cast Control WHMsonic).

I still very much disagree. Centova may be the best of the mentioned. But is still too much work and maintenance compared to the latest technology.

What work and maintenance Centova requires? For own live broadcasting (using an off-site live source) it's pretty good and requires one-time quick configuration.

I don't know why some one would prefer spending long periods of time with a platform with a few features when they could spend only minutes with a platform that has 20 times more features to operate a station.

20 times more features? Sounds like a marketing BS to me. The service you're advertising is not that good.

Jim, you've said that Centova is "much work and maintenance" compared to latest technology. Can you please share with us what this latest technology is? Isn't it what you have in your signature?

You first compared it as 1965 car vs 2013 car, now you compare it as modern smartphone vs old nokia - so what is it? It should be something really cool.

Ive used both whmsonic and centovacast extensively. Both had their pros and cons but since they had their updates they are pretty head to head.

I currently use centovacast but will be using Jims service (if and once we partner up with my CMS company) or I will build my own using liqiudsoap.
