It has to support the speed of your stream plus any other activities that you do on your network like gaming, streaming, uploading, etc... Make sure that you not only look for download speed, but for upload. Not sure what is available in your area but if you are going to take your station seriously, I would invest in as fast as possible plus make sure that the ISP is reliable with very little downtime. So, I don't think that there is a set speed as it depends on many other aspects. Hope that helps.

The rule of thumb is to have 25% overhead in your upload speed. So if you have 2 streams, one at 128k and one at 96k = 224k, you would need an uplink speed of at least 280k.
