bigloo
It's not bad... but you no longer have a favorites tab... now you have to go to your profile, then from there you get your favorites. Click "more" to see the entire list (instead of the first 20 or 30. Oh, and instead of favorites, they are calling it "following". You can also see how many are following you, and even see what others are following (if they have their profile set to "public"). I have 6.5k following me (something doesn't seem right about that number http://forum.streamlicensing.com/Smileys/default/smiley.gif ) Not bad though... I just prefer to have that favorites tab instead of going via profile, then "more" to see my entire list. Maybe there's a better way to get to it... I just haven't found it. ________ Lou Bigloo Christian Radio http://www/biglooradio.com/ digiSTREAM SHOUTcast Hosting http://www.digistream.info/
GKIye
Hi BigLoo, You still can add a station / stream to your favorites ... At the bottom of each page you gonna see a + sign, click on it and the station gonna appear into the favorites of both your TuneIn profile and into the list of your TuneIn app At my app the favorite button is still available (I have a Windows Phone) Check next to the play button the icon with the "heart" ... Click on it and the station gonna appear both at your profile and at the list of favorites of the app Honestly ... I think the "follow" feature gonna redirect many listeners to a station I'm at TuneIn since the start of their service ... and yes also I was surprised to see 5,7K at my station page Thats positive ... Now We can see and know how many people already added a project as favorite ... Into the past that wasn't possible Since the launch of the new layout I have to say that I have more listeners than before The past days the mainstream and backupstream were both FULL ... So thats a good thing ! Add or share this page at Your website : http://tunein.com/get-tunein/ It gonna generate listeners ... I'm sure ! Edited May 10, 2014 by GKIye Visit and listen @ BW ! voodoohippie
Some of the changes are a bit confusing. Plus their search engine is not as accurate as when I first joined TuneIn. Search for The Legacy and you get Testament a Christian band and you have to actually dig for my station now. It actually gave me fewer listeners and had listeners actually ask me how to tune in my station now that TuneIn has changed. To avoid confusion so they can listen right away on their smartphone I advise them to Download The Legacy Nobex for their phone since I've joined Nobex. Its easier for listeners who just want to click through their favorite stations. TuneIn I believe is just trying to get too big and when that happens things get sloppy. You also may want to get your station listed on rad.io you'll get far more mobile listeners there. My station is actually changing to A-1 Audio Legacy FM due to the confusion with Testament so I am now gonna have to re list my station as A-1 Audio Legacy FM on Tunein to actually get listeners now. BWorld
Unfortunately my station name as an apostrophe in it ('). If you search on TuneIn without said apostrophe, you'll never find it. ██ Stream101 | Affordable Media Solutions ██ Shared cPanel? jez955
I have a similar problem... my station has a ".com" in it and if you don't include the ".com," TuneIn gets nothing. :(
