We're celebrating the 10th anniversary of that day in broadcasting history, May 24, 1924, when WMS-DB went on the air for the first time. Now, 10 years later (with a wider availability of programming available) there's not who can beat us for our quality news, music and entertainment programming. Dance to the new sound of "swing" and "jazz." Thrill to the adventures of your favorite radio soap operas. And our own station owner/manager William M. Schmalfeldt holds forth (and sometimes, a fifth) during his "live" weekday show, from 4-8 p.m. ET, repeated 4-8 am while he sleeps it off.

You can find this glittering jewel where it's always been in the sparkling crown of Radio Row in glamorous Elkridge, Maryland, the media hot spot of Howard County.

Tune your radio receivers to http://brainslices.com and enjoy WMS Radio, 10 years strong and going long!
