Brutish Sailor
The mic is a Sennheiser md421 The mic itself has a local low cut selection switch. some show host leave it flat, some like it to have that low rumble. That low cut is great for clean radio sources (a lot of sports commentary use it side rejection, dynamic, yet full of character and very quiet in noisy environment's like mine) but a heavy low cut in a lossy encoding doesn't sound the greatest. Especially with ACG accenting the low cuts. Link to the gearslutz site, as some have agreed on par with this statement, sometimes it sounds WAY too compressed. She doesn't have the lowcut peeked, but that natural "compression" sound is there. KNSJ.org / 89.1 FM San Diego
