Recommended Posts

I want to buy a kick drum mic for live PA......I have used the Beta52 and the Beta91...both for the drum kick and the results are awesome.....

but those mics were not mine, and that pair are expensive and I want to buy a GOOD kick mic...but I would like to find a good quality and not so expensive like the before mentioned mics. so...

any suggestion ?

Not to seem too obvious, but if you like the sound of the Beta 52, why not the PG52?

You'd get the same basic response, just less output (kick drums provide PLENTY) and you'll save money.

Shure's whole Beta line does not render all their previous incarnations obsolete, it just steals their thunder. Allowing you to save a bundle.

As of today, there's a PG52 on eBay for $9.99

Good hunting.

-Carl.
