Does anybody have experience working as a television anchor/reporter?

I am a recent graduate of SUNY Oswego with a major in Broadcasting and Mass Communications and a minor in Health Science. To sum up who I am, I'm a sports junkie, energetic, outgoing, hard working person and I have a huge passion for this business. I have been sending out my sports demo reel and resume to news stations all over the country. So far I have had a few hits, and one interview but no offers yet. Just coming out of college I am looking for any advice for somebody like me trying to get their foot in the business. I am hungry, enthusiastic, and ready to get to work no matter where that may be.
