abkradio
Hi, I have been trying to obtain unsigned bands and artists music for use on an unsigned music radio show. I was wondering if anyone has some tips on how to obtain some and how to reach out to people. I have reached out to about 10 bands and i haven't had a very high success rate. ideas? saint
i don't know about " reaching out " to people, however - a solid plan for contacting people should suffice. Explain to them you are running a radio show, that can promote their music on a global basis. Provide links to your website - copies of previous shows. Demo stats of web traffic. You are marketing your services to them as a promotional tool - albeit for free and use on your part. EnhancedViewHD
Check out some of the local bands / artist. One of my friends he started an internet radio (short time hobby unfortunately =[) he was also a local artist. He populated it other bands he played with at venues. I'll ask him today how he mainly did it. It was pretty good while he was actually running it.
