Want to put a live chat room on radio site, any ideas how to do this?

Hi, I have a website and quite a few members have suggested that adding a chat room would be a great idea.

 

 

I'm searching for something I might be able to integrate well into my site.

 

 

Has anyone tried RumbleTalk or C-box?

Are you looking to host yourself or pay to have a company host for you?

 

I personally use Blab Chat right now. It seems to be compatible across multiple platforms.

Some advice about chats. Don't use flash based chats unless you don't mind iPhone and most Android users not being able to access your chat room.

 

Simple is best. If a chat is too complicated to join or use people wont make it in or stay.

 

There are lots of options out there. Try them all out and try them with different browsers and with different devices. Don't just pick one because it looks nice. It has to be functional or its a waste of time and space on your website.
