James
G'day guys, I have been working hard on the new BW lately. We will be launching shortly, hopefully in the next few months. All new responsive design (ideal for tablets and mobiles), new sections, everything will be AOK and working too! I have some screenshots below for your keen eyes, I would love some feedback and suggestions on what you want. http://i.imgur.com/RDKkEgTb.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/mzZfp1Wb.png If you'd like to test it out for me, shoot me a PM and i'll send you the private link. Hope you're all well, James Edited July 22, 2015 by James Studiio - All-In-One Radio Communication Platform SMS | Phone Calls | Social Media | Content
GKIye
Sometimes I wonder ... Why We all have learned HTML, PHP etc etc These days HTML5 etc ... and for sure it all has to be capable to work on mobile devices Once upon a time ... A website had to be clean, the more details the better, pictures, and users loved a font of 10 or 12px and without too much scrolling These days at several websites "scrolling" looks like a new hobby with font types who are way too big Mobile devices teach Us how to do it ... a website has become a kind of spot who isn't important anymore However tablets are getting larger / bigger day by day ... I wonder if a font of 10 or 12 px gonna become popular again into the future So far my 2 cents ... not important, I was just willing to share my point of view Visit and listen @ BW ! But our stats have been increasing in terms of mobile usage, plus Google penalises websites in search results without mobile websites. So, we have to make the move to a new layout otherwise we will be behind the times. Unfortunately in terms of mobile/tablets, the rule is fonts of 13px or larger apply otherwise they are automatically scaled (and they look terrible!). Hope you will all like the new design and interface of the site, will be much easier to navigate, will help gain new traffic to the forums too (we have been quiet lately!) and lastly it will be a huge step forward for us! -J Studiio - All-In-One Radio Communication Platform SMS | Phone Calls | Social Media | Content

Stevy6
Looks a little barebones for me, but as long as the forum works, I use iPad mainly, but occasionally on laptop too. Lets face it , with forums it's the contents more than the look There is always time for coffee and tunes.
Brutish Sailor
Lets face it , with forums it's the contents more than the look Agreed. I dont like how its a pain to post pictures. And the fact others cant view pictures unless they have ten post or more. KNSJ.org / 89.1 FM San Diego

Lets face it , with forums it's the contents more than the look We will have a touch friendly interface for the iPad so there wont be any more squinting at the screen! Agreed, any suggestions on what sections you'd like to see in the forums? Agreed. I dont like how its a pain to post pictures. And the fact others cant view pictures unless they have ten post or more. I'll look into a better way to post pictures and that will fix the ten posts or more as that is in place for voiceovers/sound effects (pictures and audio files are counted as attachments). James
Hi all, Sorry for the lack of updates! I have some more images/updates to share. 1. Station Pages I have updated the look and feel of station pages. Made them fully mobile responsive and feature rich! Exciting features to announce for station owners 2. Find A Station This is a new section I have made up under Stations. It allows you to search for an artist (e.g Drake) and search for stations that play it. No longer will listeners have to search for hours for their perfect station via Genres (although that feature will still be there). This makes it so much easier for your listeners! I will also be developing saint's idea of a radio dial. You will be able to input your location and scroll through local internet stations in your area via a traditional radio dial. Just another way to listen to your favorite stations! Feedback and your thoughts welcome! James
Should also mention that station owners have some pretty neat tools! http://i.imgur.com/GU18EYs.png Studiio - All-In-One Radio Communication Platform SMS | Phone Calls | Social Media | Content
James
Ok, can I get some feedback? With stations, I have access to some pretty detailed stats (details listed below). Now should these stats be available to any station owner for free? Or would you be willing to pay for access to these stats? These stats are automatically pulled from BW (e.g. if a member or user clicks "listen" on your station page), but you also have the ability to put some code on your own website to calculate these stats too. Stats included: - Listeners Now, Today, This Week, This Month, This Year, All Time - Latest Listeners - Top Members Who Listen - Listeners By Country - The ability to generate PDF reports and receive weekly emails for listener info. Now should ALL of this be available for any station owner for free, or would you be willing to pay for pro membership ($10 including sitewide features) to access this? I am unaware of any other sites that do this for free. So let me know! musemedia
I like it James! I honestly don't think $10 a month is unreasonable. Although, most broadcasters have those stats readily available to them already. Wesley Curtis ProStreaming Networks (http://prostreaming.net) We Stream The World! James
I like it James! I honestly don't think $10 a month is unreasonable. Although, most broadcasters have those stats readily available to them already. My aim is to make it smarter. All stations will receive an email with a link to a weekly report summary, this will show them some statistics and give them some advice on how to improve their stations. This will hopefully give station owners a confidence boost and encourage them to do better! I have thought of some more things to add: - Recommendations on how to improve your station (5-10 action points for station owners to consider based on their stations statistics) - Compare listener stats from last week (Give an insight on how your station is growing) - Desktop vs Mobile comparison (know how your target market is, are they at home or on the move?, what device to they use?) I have sent some station owners a sample email of the notification email and sample report. Pro members will have access to a more detailed report Studiio - All-In-One Radio Communication Platform SMS | Phone Calls | Social Media | Content

frankallen
I don't think its unreasonable although as musemedia says This info is available in your stream control panel. Maybe not something i would use personally. Online tech support i would pay for right now as my stream provider and trying my patience at present. http://i.imgur.com/qrEUBH7.png Check us out http://www.itsjustradio.org

Keep in mind these stats are not your streams stats overall, they are stats as to who is listening to it via BW only. You have the option to extend it and track these stats through your website/stream if you like the interface we have provided.
