RadioCIA
I was browsing the articles and ran across this: 4. Save Event Scedules Some people have events that they like to save to keep for the holidays or special events. If we're just talking about holidays and special events, is it really that difficult to set up the event in advance of it? We use the event scheduler EXTENSIVELY for the syndicated shows that we air. The trick is to make use of playlists instead of loading individual files into each event. For example, event "A" runs every Wednesday at 1pm. We make a playlist for event "A" and call it a.m3u. Now, each Friday when we get new content for event "A", we simply build a new playlist, and overwrite the old a.m3u with it. Voila, all new content next Wednesday, and we never even LOOKED at the event scheduler.
