pcbugsgr
Hello everyone, This is my first post here My company had bought a service from Iradeo.com , which is not using shoutcast or icecast to stream. they suggest to use broadwave to stream to their server. The idea is that broadwave creates an m3u or mp3 file (like http://myip:myport/broadwave.m3u and i should copy that stream to their server) but unfortunately i cant meke that stream work on that server. I can hear the stream directly from the local server or by entering http://myip:myport/broadwave.m3u to any browser but iradeo refuse to play. any suggestion? what i found out by testing is that if i write at browser address http://myip:myport/broadwave.m3u it downloads like an .asx file is that something it shouldnt happen?? thanks in advace for your help. i am really getting desperate!! GKIye
I checked their website ... and it looks to Me that this service is "one of the many" streaming services Everything is "for free" untill people click the tab "pricing" I see the "free service" ... But what contains the free option ? A free storage of 50MB ... a simple podcast has more file size ! In fact I would say ... I don't trust that kind of service ... check : http://network-tools.com/default.asp?prog=whois&host=iradeo.com BW members who are into the business as provider etc ... are able to tell you more about it Furthermore, be sure that there are a lot of other services who offer a temporary free service ... or if You have no budget, they provide a service for a low(er) price It would be a good idea to share with Us Your website or IP Port listen link ... That way We can create an idea about Your issue Visit and listen @ BW !
shoutcaststreaming
50 MB of song storage is only 10 songs or less. That's nothing .. listeners would quickly tune out if you play 10 songs over and over and over. You get what you pay for .. you pay nothing, you get nothing !!
