softpiano
Hello people. It would be great if somebody could help me a bit. As for running internet radio i know the only method: running icecast or shoutcast server (or buying such service), then playing music in such software like SAM or RadioDJ (which would be an encoder) and then happily listening to the radio with a link: http://IP:port/mountpoint or via player inserted into a website Are there any other methods? The thing is that i would like to run multiple streams of my music. Imagine 10 players on a website (different channels) each playing different genres. How could i do this the easyest way? There would be no talk, no live shows, just playing music. What would be the easyest way of running multiple encoders (10 or 20)? And can it be done with icecast or i should look for other solutions? I would appreciate your help. Thanks.
Lozenets
Hi! Me i have done something similar with two different streams ! Unfortunately you have to run different players I am using RadioBoss but i have done it with winamp too! In each stream you choose a different server and port somewhere ! Then you may put a player of this stream on your site! I am using shoutcast! But have in mind to support 10 concurent streams the same time needs serious involvement in order to present a real program.
